<p>If you do not delegate authority, you will not attract great leaders. Pastors are the worst at this. We are the biggest control freaks. We want to give away the tasks but hord the authority to make the decision. </p>
<p>We need to give people the permission to solve the problem of the task at hand with their own creativity and process. That builds leaders and creates the margin for them to grow and you to grow.</p>
<p>You have 2 choices:<br />
High Control and Low Growth or<br />
Low Control and High Growth.</p>
